Unsettled weather pattern expected next few days..

Sunday 7:35pm  A stationary ridge of high pressure remains to the north while a stationary trough of low pressure is located to the south with rain falling across NS. Several areas of low pressure will track along this stalled trough over the next number of days. The various computers models are conflicted with the timing of these low pressure systems so confidence of remains low. through next week.

Precipitation.. Chance of a shower for southeastern Kings county tonight. Chance of rain for Wednesday then again on Friday/weekend.

Thunderstorms.. Risk of storms across the Island remains low through the period although storms may develop over NB through the period which may drift across the Strait into western PEI.

Wind.. Generally a light southerly wind will prevail through the period increasing to brisk on Friday.

Temperatures.. Expected to be a few degrees either side of normal through the forecast period.

Tonight.. Mainly cloudy, light southeast winds, lows near 16.

Monday.. Clearing, light south winds, highs 22.

Tuesday.. Mix of sun and cloud, light south winds, highs 27

Wednesday.. Cloudy, chance of rain, light south winds, highs 25.

Thursday.. Sunny, light south winds, highs 25.

Friday.. Cloudy, chance of rain, brisk south winds, highs 25.
