Monday 6:45am A northeast-southwest oriented cold front located along the S Lawrence River this morning will sweep across the Maritimes today to be located off the east coast by this evening. An area of high pressure will build in over the region tonight and tomorrow followed by another cold front on Wednesday into Thursday. A low pressure system is now expected to approach from the Great Lakes on the weekend with some much awaited rain.
Precipitation.. Showers should move across the Island from west to east this morning. Chance of showers again on Thursday then again on the weekend.

Wind..Brisk southwest winds today will shift to the light northwest tonight. Light north winds tomorrow becoming southerly on Wednesday which will shift back to northerly late Friday.
