Friday 8:15pm An area of high pressure located south of NS this evening will continue to move eastward to be located over NFLD by tomorrow morning, meanwhile a low pressure system located near Long Island will move north to be located over the Gulf Of Maine by Saturday evening. This will be the first in a series of low pressure system that will effect eastern Canada over the next few days. Long range into next week is still hinting at low pressure in the area bringing unsettled conditions.
Precipitation.. Rain should begin near noon tomorrow tapering to showers by evening with about 10 mms expected. Showers should continue Saturday night through Sunday becoming periods of rain Sunday night tapering to showers by Monday morning with another 10-15 mms possible. Dry slot expected Monday evening/overnight then more showers expected Tuesday and Wednesday.
Wind.. Light southeast wind tonight early tomorrow increasing to brisk easterly by Saturday evening diminishing to light southeast by Sunday morning. Winds shifting and increasing to brisk southwest on Monday. Brisk southwest winds continue on Tuesday diminishing to light westerly on Wednesday.
Temperatures.. Near normal tonight and tomorrow warming to above normal for the rest of the forecast period.
