Saturday 7:40am A low pressure system located near Cape Cod this morning will track northeastward to lie over the Gulf Of Maine by this evening. Rain ahead of this system has already spread through southern regions of the Maritimes. A second low pressure system will develop off the US east coast on Sunday and track into our region by Monday bringing another round of rainfall to the area. A ridge of high pressure will briefly build in for Tuesday and Wednesday then another low pressure system expected for Thursday/Friday
Precipitation.. Rain should begin by noon ending Monday afternoon. Total rainfall could be in the 30-50 mm range but will depend on where the plume of subtropical moisture sets-up. Showers expected again Thursday and early Friday.
Wind.. Light southeast winds will shift and increase to brisk easterly this afternoon then diminish back to light southeast on Sunday. Brisk south westerlies expected on Monday and Tuesday diminishing to light westerly on Wednesday shifting to light southeasterly on Thursday.
Temperatures.. Near normal temperatures today becoming above normal through the remainder of the forecast period.

Sunday..Rain tapering to showers in the morning becoming periods of rain in the evening tapering back to showers overnight (15-25 mms), light southeast winds, highs near 19.
Monday.. Cloudy with showers ending in the evening. Winds becoming brisk westerly with highs near 18
