Generally dry for the next few days across PEI,

Tuesday 8:00am.. A low pressure area located over northern NFLD this morning will continue to move off to the east today, meanwhile an area of high pressure will be approaching from the west and should crest over the region late Wednesday. Weak low pressure will cross the area on late Thursday/early Friday followed by weak high pressure early Saturday. Long range charts are hinting at another cold front stalling over the Maritimes on Sunday bringing another threat of significant rainfall to the region.

Precipitation.. Chance of showers today, Showers should begin late Thursday/early Friday and continue into Saturday. Heavy rain possible on Sunday.

Wind.. Brisk west winds today will diminish to light tonight increasing to brisk northwesterly on Wednesday. Light northerly winds on Thursday shifting to light southwesterly on Friday  becoming brisk southerly on Saturday and Sunday.

Temperatures.. At or above normal through Saturday. Temperatures on Sunday will depend on the location of the stalled front.

Tonight.. few clouds, light northwest winds, lows 12

Wednesday.. Few clouds, brisk northwest winds, highs 16

Thursday..Becoming cloudy with showers possible late in the day, light northeast winds, highs 15

Friday.. Cloudy with showers, light southwest winds, highs 15

Saturday.. Cloudy with chance of showers, brisk south winds, highs 17

Sunday.. Possible Heavy rain ?????
