Friday 6:20pm A cold front will approach the Maritimes tonight and cross the region tomorrow night bringing another round of showers. A low pressure system will develop along the mid Atlantic coast bring more steadier rain into the area before dawn on Monday . High pressure builds in for Tuesday and Wednesday then another stronger low pressure system is expected to move through eastern Quebec on Thursday. This system will bring strong winds to the area as well as the coldest temperatures of the season.
Precipitation.. Showers should begin late Saturday night/early Sunday morning ending before noon on Sunday giving about 5 mms. Rain will redevelop again early Monday morning ending in the afternoon with amounts in the 10-20 mms range. The early fall storm will spread more to the region on Thursday. Too early for details yet.
Wind.. Light southwest winds tonight increasing to brisk on Saturday shifting to northwesterly before noon on Sunday. Northwest winds will continue into Tuesday shifting to southerly on Wednesday becoming strong southwesterly on Thursday.
Temperatures.. At or above normal through Sunday afternoon becoming cooler for Monday and Tuesday then warming up for Wednesday and Thursday. Much cooler temperatures are expected beginning Thursday night.
