Sunday 6:45am.. A cold front crossing the Island is currently located over Kings county and will continue to move eastward today. A brief weak high pressure are will slide across the region this afternoon then a low pressure system will will develop off the mid Atlantic coast and track northeastward passing east of NFLD Monday morning. Another area of high pressure will build in over the region for later Monday through Wednesday. Showers may develop later on Monday as the cooler air destablizes. Rain is expected again late Wednesday/early Thursday as the next system approaches giving another 10 mms. Showers continue into Friday then possible flurries later Saturday.
