Saturday 7:45am.. A frontal trough located west of the Maritimes this morning will move east to lie across NS by Sunday morning. Showers associated with this system have already moved into NB and will spread across the island over the next few hours. Showers will become periods of rain at time heavy with chance of thundershowers ending near dawn on Sunday. Rainfall amounts in the 10-15 mms range. High pressure will build in for later Sunday and should last through the latter part of next week although brisk northwest winds will usher in cool unstable air which could result in isolated showers. Models are hinting at a frontal system for next weekend bringing showers..
