Sunday 5:30pm A deep low pressure system will pass north of the Maritimes tonight and tomorrow allowing high pressure to build in from the northwest. This high will bring cool unstable air across the region under brisk northwest winds. Afternoon clouds and chance of isolated showers especially for eastern areas through mid week. A frontal system will approach the area from the southwest for the weekend but a southerly wind will allow temperatures to recover. Low range models are hinting at a deep coastal storm for Halloween. This is still a longs ways out but will need watching to see how this will play out.
