Monday 5:00pm A deepening low pressure system over Labrador and an approaching area of high pressure is maintaining a brisk west/northwest flow of cool unstable air over the Maritimes and as a result, cloud and a few showers possible over the next couple days. A warm front will lift north of the region on Friday bringing a return to normal temperatures then a cold front will sweep across the area on Sunday with a chance of showers and cooler weather. Watching the possibility of a very strong coastal storm for the middle of next week. The models are all over the place with placement and timing but this will need watching for the long range as this could be a very significant weather event for all the east coast from New York to the Maritimes.
