Wednesday 6:00pm.. The remnant low pressure of Sandy is located near Ottawa this afternoon and will slowly move to the northeast over the remainder of the week. High pressure will build in from the west on Monday and Tuesday then low pressure is expected to move up the coast for mid week. Will have more on this system in upcoming posts but could be another rain maker for the area.
Precipitation.. Cloudy damp weather is expected across the Island through until Monday the large circulation of Sandy continues to influence the area. Showers may turn to flurries or ice pellets late Sunday/early Monday as colder air filters down from the north. Dry weather expected later Monday then will need to watch a potential rain-maker on Tuesday/Wednesday as the next system comes up the coast.

Wind.. Brisk southeast winds today will shift and diminish to light southerly on Thursday and Friday then becoming northwesterly on Saturday through Monday. Increasing easterly winds on Tuesday as the next system tracks up the coast.
Temperatures.. At or above normal through Sunday then cooler on Monday and Tuesday.
