Thursday 8:30am.. A large area of low pressure stretching from the Great Lakes to Hudson Bay will slowly drift eastward during the remainder of the week maintaining unsettled weather right into the weekend. Temperatures will slowly cool down becoming more seasonal over the next few days. High pressure will begin to build in from the west Monday through Wednesday then another east coast system is expected to develop and push into the Maritimes early Thursday. Long range models are hinting at another significant rain and wind event but too early to go into details at this time.
Precipitation.. Unsettled weather will continue into the weekend as the remnants of Sandy slowly transit across the region. Dry conditions are expected for Monday and Tuesday then more rain begin again on Wednesday.

Wind.. Light southerly wind today increasing to brisk on Friday then shifting to northwesterly on Saturday. Brisk westerly winds for Sunday and Monday diminishing to light in Tuesday then increasing to brisk easterly on Wednesday as the coastal system approaches.
Temperatures.. Will be on a slow cool down each day becoming normal on Sunday then below normal for Monday and Tuesday. Temperatures warm up again on Wednesday as the nor-easter pumps in warm air.
