Tuesday May 2nd, 7:45am.. A low pressure system located in central Quebec this morning is tracking NE into Labrador. A warm front extending eastward from this low extends across Maine into southern NS. The warm front will lift northward today then the associated cold front which extends southward from the low will then sweep across the Maritmes tomorrow ushering in some cooler more seasonal air. Conditions remain unstable in the cool NW winds on Thursday. High pressure passes south of the region on Friday then things looking rather interesting in the weekend as a low pressure system moves NE from the south through the Great Lakes then in to Labrador. This system will be loaded with tropical moisture so expecting a significant dumping of rain but details on where and how much are still sketchy.
