Monday May 22nd 9:50am.. NW winds have finally diminished across PEI as a north-south ridge of high pressure approaches. This feature should crest over PEI later this afternoon. Clouds have already spread across the island in advance of a weak frontal system associated with a low pressure system in the Great Lakes. This occluded front will cross the island tomorrow afternoon with some showers. Weak high pressure will then build back in later Wednesday and hold through Thursday with some sunshine.
