Tuesday May 30th 7:30am… A ridge of high pressure remained over the Maritimes yesterday and gave the sunshine and light winds to the region. The high will slowly move off to the east meanwhile a weakening occluded front is approaching from the west later tonight into early tomorrow but there may not be much left of it once it gets here. Another cold front is approaching from the wets and is expected to cross the region on Thursday with a bit more in the way og cloud and showers/thundershowers. An upper air disturbance id then expected to cross the Maritimes on Friday/Saturday with more cloud and showers/thundershowers.
Precipitation.. Hold off on any showers now until later tomorrow when the cold front approaches. Chance of showers on Friday then a better chance of showers on Saturday/Sunday.
Temperatures..At or slightly above normal today through Friday. Turning cool on the weekend.
Wind.. Very light SE winds today will increase to light-brisk southerly tomorrow, light southerlies continue on Thursday. Brisk SW on Saturday shifting to NW for Sunday.
Thunderstorms... Increasing chance beginning tomorrow night and lasting through Saturday.
Hazards.. Possible wet driving conditions beginning tomorrow night.
