Wednesday May 31st 9:00am.. The air is becoming unstable as a series of weather systems rotate around a main area of low pressure in the lower Husdon’s Bay. The first in the series is pushing a line of showers through NB now and should move across PEI over the next few hours. The next impulse will move across the island tonight and linger through tomorrow. A cold upper air low pressure area will then cross the Maritimes on Friday with cloud and showers and linger through the weekend and even into early next week. So a bit of a prolonged period of unsettled weather ahead.
Precipitation.. Could be an initial burst of showers later this morning but the main area moves in this evening then basically a threat of showers right into early next week. Now it won’t be a complete right-off but rather just unsettled conditions with a chance of showers.
Temperatures..At or above normal through Friday, Below normal Saturday-Monday.
Wind.. Light-brisk southerly today, light-brisk SW tomorrow through Saturday. Winds then shift to the north on Sunday and continue through Wednesday.
