Monday June 19th, 9:10am.. A cold front oriented NE-SW is located across New England this morning. This front is moving slowly eastward and is expected to move into the Maritimes late tonight then across PEI tomorrow. Very warm and humid air ahead of the front will give way to showers and thundershowers with it’s passage. An upper disturbance then crosses the region on Wednesday with more showers and thundershowers. High pressure builds in for Thursday with some sunshine followed by another frontal system for Friday and Saturday with cloud and showers.
Precipitation.. Showers spread across the region tomorrow as the front approaches becoming heavy at times. Hard to pin point amounts but could be locally significant. Unsettled weather continues Wednesday. Thursday looking dry then unsettled again on Friday and Saturday.
Temperatures..Warm and muggy today and tomorrow. Cools down to normal on Wednesday then slightly below normal on Thursday. Normal again for Friday and Saturday.
Wind..Light-brisk SW winds expected right through the period.
Thunderstorms.. Chance of storms tomorrow and Wednesday then again on Friday/Saturday.
