Wednesday, Sept 13th 8:30am.. A ridge of high pressure oriented NE-SW is currently stretching through NB. This feature will give another day of sunshine to the island as it moves eastward today. Some clouds may spread across the island with a slight chance of a shower as a weak cold front oriented E-W drops down from the north. This front will then lift back to the north on Friday as the remnants to Irma slide off the east coast south of NS. It looks like some showers may just scrape southern tip of NS while just some cloud and slight chance of a shower expected across PEI. Another cold front sweeps through Saturday night into Sunday morning with more cloud and showers. More unsettled weather continues into Monday with a warm front draped E-W to our north.
Precipitation..A very slight chance of shower tomorrow night. Chance of a shower again on Friday as Irma slides by south of NS. Chance of showers again Saturday night into Sunday morning then again on Monday.
Temperatures.. Above normal today through Saturday. Cooler for Sunday and Monday..
Wind.. Light westerly today becoming light-brisk SW tomorrow. Light easterlies on Friday shifting to southerlies on Saturday.
Tropics.. The remnants of Irma move south of NS on Friday. We could get a passing shower from this system . Jose is expected to pass east of NS Tuesday of next week.
