Monday, November 5th 7:00am.. An area of high pressure centered centered over western NB this morning will continue to drift eastward today cresting over the island near noon. Sun/cloud and calm winds will accompany this feature. High clouds will begin to spread across the region later this morning as warm front approaches with rain developing mid morning tomorrow. Rain continuous Tuesday night into Wednesday morning as an occluded front moves across the island ending near noon on Wednesday. Skies then clear as high pressure builds in from the west but W-NW winds may result in onshore cloud across the eastern half of the island. This high pressure area will crest over the island Friday evening. Skies once again cloud over Friday afternoon as the next weatehr system approaches with rain developing near dawn on Saturday. This system responsible for this will be an area of low pressure develop off the coast near New York City Friday evening and move NE along the coast pushing into the Maritimes Saturday afternoon. Clearing skies expected Saturday evening as this system pulls away to the north over the Gaspe Penn. Much cooler weather will then invade the region for Sunday and continuing into the following week with high pressure approaching.
Precipitation.. Rain develops by mid morning tomorrow ending by noon on Wednesday giving 15-20 mms. Rain develops again between midnight Friday night and dawn Saturday morning ending by suppertime Saturday giving another 10 mms.
Temperatures.. Normal today warm-up tomorrow peaking between midnight tomorrow and dawn on Wednesday with temps near 14. Slow cool down through the day on Wednesday. Normal Thursday through Saturday. Much cooler beginning on Sunday.
Wind.. Winds continue to diminish dropping off to clam for a few hours this morning then shifting to light SE this afternoon further increasing to brisk SE on Tuesday. Brisk SW on Wednesday, westerly on Thursday dropping off to calm Friday late afternoon.
Remembrance Day service.. Right now looking cloudy with chance of flurries and brisk west winds. Will need to bundle up with hats and mittens. Will be quite cool for those on Parade..
