Monday, June 10th 5:45am… A area of low pressure will linger over the Maritimes for the next few days resulting in clouds along with daytime showers and possible thundershowers. This won’t be a complete washout as there will be some sunshine as well. The unsettled conditions will be accompanied by generally light winds and above normal temperatures. Wednesday will see this feature move away just to be replaced by another weak area of low pressure which will maintain the unsettled conditions across the island. A strong cold front looks to sweep across the region later Friday into Saturday morning accompanied by heavy showers and thundershowers. This frontal passage will change the air with cooler but sunny conditions expected for the weekend. High clouds invade on Monday associated with a warm front and a return to warm and muggy conditions.
Precipitation… Chance of showers generally everyday right through Wednesday. Thursday looking dry then more showers later Friday associated with the cold front. Weekend and early next week also looking dry.
